Used 20ft Open Side / Full Side Access Container

Description

A used 20 ft full side access container: double hinged doors along one long side plus standard end doors. It suits buyers who need to reach any pallet without unloading the rest, at a used-box price.

Open the side and the whole 19 ft of the interior is in front of you. The side doors clear about 5.82 m, so a forklift can set down or pick up a pallet anywhere along the length instead of working from the back of the box forward. The usual end doors are still there for loading lengthwise.

This is a used unit sold wind and watertight, built of Corten steel with two locking bars on every door leaf. It has forklift pockets on each side, a 28 mm marine plywood floor on steel cross members and eight vents. The CSC plate rates it at 24 tonnes gross, and it weighs about 3,120 kg empty because the side door framing adds steel.

The end door on this used build is lower than on the new version, at 2.14 m. Measure your tallest load against that figure, or plan to load it through the side, where height is not the limit.
