Description
A used 2005 Silver Star 2HGNLQ, a two-horse gooseneck with a small 4 ft short-wall living area, refrigerator and air conditioning, for a rider who wants the basics of an LQ at a low price.
The quarters are modest: a 4 ft short wall and 9 ft long wall with a refrigerator, an air conditioner and 110 V wiring. There is no bathroom or holding tanks in the listing, so think of it as a cool place to rest and store food rather than a camper.
Two horses ride in the back with an escape door and a walk-through door into the front. The box measures 16 ft, 7 ft wide outside and 7 ft 6 in inside. It is all aluminum with an aluminum floor.
Axles are rated 5,200 lb on 16 in tires, and the GVWR is listed at 12,500 lb. The listing also gives an empty weight of 3,200 lb, which looks low for this layout, so we would weigh it before relying on that figure. Manual jack and spare tire.
