The C-600 shares the Precedent cabinet, condenser layout and compressor with the S-Series, but pairs them with a smaller engine package aimed at fleets whose loads are mostly chilled rather than deep-frozen. You give up some low-temperature margin against the S models and keep the platform's microchannel condenser coils, electronically driven condenser fans and a two-speed evaporator fan.
Published net cooling at 100 degrees F ambient and high engine speed, with ETV, is 59,000 BTU per hour at 35 degrees F, 34,000 at zero and 21,000 at minus 20. Without ETV the 35 degree figure drops to 51,000. Airflow is 3,350 cubic feet per minute. The compressor is an X430 reciprocating unit of 30 cubic inches carrying 14.5 lb of refrigerant, engine oil capacity is 12 quarts, and routine service falls every 3,000 hours. System weight is 1,863 lb and the cabinet measures 81.6 by 86.2 by 24 in.
