Description
A 20 ft open side container: double hinged doors down the full 20 ft flank plus standard cargo doors at one end, so a forklift can reach any pallet directly instead of unloading the stack in front of it. From $2,350.
Full side access changes what a 20 ft box is for. Long material — timber, pipe, extrusion, racking — goes in sideways rather than being threaded through a 7 ft 8 in end door. Palletised stock becomes directly reachable instead of buried. And the open flank is the reason these shells dominate mobile retail, exhibition stand and food-service conversions, because the doors become the frontage.
Construction is COR-TEN A grade steel with welded tie-down points on the upper and lower rails, ten air vents, heavy rubber seals on every door edge, a marine plywood floor and high-security lock box covers on both door sets. Colour options run to blue (RAL 5010 or 5013) and green (RAL 6007 or 6028). One-trip units for export use come with a CSC plate of roughly five years' validity.
One practical warning: leave working room along the door side when you site it. The leaves need to swing, and the delivery truck sets the box down in one orientation only.
