Description
An 8 ft bunded store built from a one-trip container, with a 300 mm raised bund and a 3 mm Durbar steel floor welded in. $5,140 — for drums, IBCs and anything that must not reach the ground if it leaks.
A bund is a sealed containment tray. This one is formed by welding a 3 mm Durbar chequer floor into the container and raising the perimeter 300 mm, so a split drum or a failed valve puts its contents into a steel tank rather than into your yard. That is usually the difference between a spill kit and a remediation contractor.
The shell is a new one-trip container in all Cor-Ten steel with exterior hinged double doors, two locking bars, a factory-fitted lock box, two forklift pockets at the front and eight vents — ventilation matters more than usual when you are storing volatiles. Flat-floor and open-mesh-floor versions of the 8 ft store are also available.
