Description
A pintle-hitch deckover — twenty-five feet at 8 ft 6 in wide on two 10,000 lb braked axles, with a self-cleaning dovetail and King Kong ramps.
The pintle hitch is the point of difference and it changes what tows this trailer. A pintle hook and lunette ring articulate in every direction, which is why they are standard on construction and municipal equipment: on rough ground, uneven yards and steep transitions, a ball coupler binds where a pintle does not. It also means the tow vehicle needs a pintle hook rather than a ball.
Twenty thousand pounds of axle capacity under a heavy-duty I-beam frame, with a self-cleaning dovetail so mud falls through rather than packing in. King Kong loading ramps handle tracked machines, and a chain box at the front keeps binders off the deck. Pressure-treated wood flooring, 16 in wheels and tires, stake pockets, D-rings, a heavy-duty jack and a spare tire holder.
