Description
A pintle-hitch hybrid — eighteen feet with a V-nose enclosed section, 2 ft fold-down mesh sides on the deck, and tandem 7,000 lb brake axles.
The pintle hitch is the specification that decides whether this trailer suits you. A pintle hook and lunette ring articulate freely in every direction, which is why they are standard on construction and municipal fleets working on rough or uneven ground where a ball coupler binds. The tow vehicle needs a pintle hook, not a ball.
Fold-down mesh sides are the other useful detail: two feet of containment on the utility deck when you want it, folded flat out of the way when you are loading something wider than the trailer. A 36 in side man door serves the enclosed section, which runs 6 ft 6 in inside behind an aerodynamic V-nose, and a smooth bi-fold ramp gate closes the rear.
