Four feet of mesh on the utility deck is unusually tall for a hybrid — most run one or two feet — and it turns the open section into a genuine container for brush, debris or bulk rather than just a platform. The driver-side loading ramp with bar locks means you can get into the deck from the kurb rather than only from the rear.

The flat nose gives a square interior in the enclosed box, easier to shelve than a V. An extended tongue improves balance and gives room ahead of the body.
