Description
The gooseneck version of the standard sixteen-foot two-foot-side dump — extra-long rear slide-out ramps, telescopic lift, tandem 7,000 lb axles.
The extra-long slide-out ramps are the practical difference. A longer ramp is a shallower ramp, and on a dump trailer where the floor already sits high off the ground that is what allows a low-clearance machine to climb on without grounding out on the transition.
The gooseneck configuration gives better maneuverability and a more stable tow than a bumper-pull of the same capacity, at the cost of needing a pickup with a bed hitch. Telescopic hydraulic dump with controller, an extended tongue carrying the pump control box, a 3-way rear gate, versatile stake pockets, a heavy-duty I-beam frame, 16 in tires and wheels, and an adjustable coupler with safety chains.
