A 6 m XL flat pack store — galvanised steel panels that bolt together on site to give the same storage capacity as a 20 ft container, for sites a container cannot reach. $2,200.

Restricted access is the whole reason this product exists. Underground car parks, residential back gardens, courtyards behind a narrow entry: places where a 20 ft steel box simply cannot be delivered, but where the storage is still needed. The XL ships as a stack of galvanised panels and assembles into a store of equivalent volume, then comes apart again if the site changes.

Galvanised steel rather than Corten means it will not develop the rust patina a container does, which some sites prefer aesthetically. Units link end to end or side by side into larger open-plan spaces. Assembly is straightforward but the XL is genuinely large — plan on a team of six to eight for placing the roof section. Delivery is usually flat-packed by HIAB; pre-built delivery and an installation service can be discussed separately.
