Description
Twenty feet of dovetail deck finished in gray powder coat, on two 3,500 lb braked axles with 205/75/15 tires and a 2,000 lb tongue jack.
Gray is a practical choice on a working trailer for an unglamorous reason: it does not show the dust, mud and scuffing that make black trailers look tired within a season. The powder coat itself is the part that matters, being baked on and appreciably thicker than sprayed enamel, which is what keeps rust out of the frame where the deck bolts through.
Twenty feet of dovetail deck is a lot of trailer for the money, and the brakes are on both axles rather than the rear only. A 2,000 lb tongue jack handles the hitch weight, and LED lighting and a spare tire holder are fitted. Match it to a receiver rated for the loaded weight and run a brake controller in the tow vehicle.
