Description
An all-aluminum sixteen-foot straight deck at 7,000 lb GVWR — no rust, appreciably lighter than steel, on dual 3,500 lb drop axles.
Aluminum at this size makes a real difference to what you can tow. The trailer's own weight is a significant part of any towed load, and a lighter trailer with the same 7,000 lb rating gives you more usable payload and an easier tow. It also removes rust from the equation entirely, which on a trailer that lives outside and carries wet material is the main thing that ends a steel trailer's life.
The frame is precision aluminum extrusion rather than welded stock sections, with neatly enclosed wiring and DOT-compliant lighting. Drop axles with greaseable hubs lower the deck height, and a 36 in gate with a lawn-mower edge sits at the rear. Six-ply C-rated tires on 14 in wheels, with a 1,500 lb jack and 8 in wheel.
