Description
A tandem-axle 6 ft 4 in × 14 ft dovetail utility trailer rated 7,000 lb GVWR, on two 3,500 lb Dexter axles with brakes — the in-between length for a mower crew that has outgrown a 12.
Fourteen feet fits a 60 in zero-turn with space in front for a trimmer rack or a couple of fuel cans, and at 7K GVWR it takes a heavier load than a single-axle trailer of the same length is allowed to.
The dovetail lowers the back edge so the gate sits at a gentler angle, and the gate itself, reinforced with five supports inside the frame, folds forward onto the floor. Electric brakes and a breakaway kit are fitted. Six D-rings are welded in for tie-downs.
Other details: a wrap tongue, 15 in steel wheels on Kenda radials, pressure-treated #1 pine floor, heavy diamond-plate fenders, a front spare holder, Optronics LED lighting, a recessed jack, and a baked Sherwin-Williams powder coat.
