Description

A compact twelve-foot tandem deck with 4.5 ft ladder racks — short enough to park easily, tall enough to carry ladders above the load.

The 4.5 ft rack height is the useful part. It clears a loaded deck without adding so much height that the trailer fouls low branches and garage doors, and it puts ladders and long stock where they belong: above the working area rather than taking up floor. On a twelve-foot deck that recovers most of the usable space a longer trailer would give you.

Underneath, tandem 3,500 lb greaseable axles carry brakes on the rear axle. The frame runs a C-channel tongue with #1 pressure-treated pine decking, heavy-duty fenders and 15 in steel wheels. Finish is a baked powder coat rather than sprayed enamel, and a spare tire holder is fitted.
