Description
A compact 6 ft 4 in × 10 ft single-axle utility trailer with a dovetail gate and a 3,500 lb Dexter axle, sized for a homeowner's riding mower, yard debris or a run to the dump.
Ten feet is short enough to back into a driveway without drama and to park beside the garage when you are not using it. It still takes a riding mower or a small ATV, and the dovetail keeps the gate angle low enough that a mower deck does not scrape.
There is one greaseable Dexter axle on 15 in steel wheels with Kenda radial tires, and a C-channel tongue. Four D-rings handle the tie-downs. The gate has five internal braces and folds forward if you want the whole floor for mulch or firewood.
The floor is pressure-treated #1 pine, the fenders are diamond plate, the lights are LED, and a spare tire holder sits at the front. The Sherwin-Williams powder coat holds up better than paint against chips and road salt. The jack is recessed so it clears the gate.
