A once-shipped 40 ft standard container finished in RAL 6007 bottle green, a colour that sits quietly against hedges, fields and farm buildings. It suits buyers who want large storage without a bright box on the skyline.
Colour is the only reason to pick this over the blue version. Dark green is the usual choice on rural property, near homes and anywhere planning or neighbours prefer something that blends in. Underneath the paint it is the same new Cor-Ten box, built in China to standard 40 ft dimensions and sent on one loaded trip before leaving service.
It gives about 2,387 cubic feet of storage, with a 28 mm marine plywood floor on steel bearers and four vents. The single pair of end doors has two locking bars per leaf and a factory lockbox. The CSC plate rates it at 30 tonnes gross.
External size is 12.19 m by 2.44 m by 2.59 m (40 ft by 8 ft by 8 ft 6 in). The door clears 2.34 m wide and 2.28 m high. Allow plenty of straight room for the truck when you choose where it will sit, because a 40 ft container needs a long run to be set down.
