Description
A new 2024 Rice 7 × 16 ft equipment hauler rated 9,990 lb GVWR, with 5 ft spring-assist fold-up ramps, a toolbox and D-rings — a light equipment trailer for a compact tractor or small skid steer.
At 2,775 lb empty, this is about as light as a proper equipment trailer gets, and the 9,990 lb GVWR leaves a 7,215 lb payload. That is enough for a compact tractor with a loader or a small skid steer, and keeping the trailer under 10,000 lb is useful for many owners.
The 5 ft equipment-style ramps fold up with spring assist and have kickers so they stay put while you drive on. Two 5,200 lb cambered EZ Lube axles have electric brakes. The main frame is 6 in channel, the tongue 5 in channel, with 3 in formed channel crossmembers under pressure-treated decking.
Options on this one: 3 in D-rings, a flatbed spare mount and a Stealth-Magnum toolbox. It also has a 14,000 lb adjustable 2-5/16 in coupler, a 7,000 lb drop-leg jack, hard fenders, a sealed modular wiring harness, LED lights, a breakaway kit and a full powder coat in black.
