Description
An all-aluminum two-horse slant load deluxe at just 2,600 lb empty — the lightest trailer recorded here — with 7 ft 6 in of interior height.
Twenty-six hundred pounds is remarkably light for a 15 ft two-horse trailer, and it changes what can tow it. Against a 7,000 lb GVWR that leaves around 4,400 lb of payload, which covers two horses, tack and water comfortably — and the trailer's own weight is not eating into the tow vehicle's rating the way a steel equivalent would.
Seven foot six of interior height is 22.5 hands, enough for full-size horses, on a 6 ft 8 in outside width and a 15 ft box. The 1 ft short wall means the dressing area is minimal. An aluminum floor sits under the mats — lift them and check the plank seams, which is where aluminum floors corrode. One-off used stock, offered as it stands.
