2019 Sundowner Charter 2 Horse Charter Bumper Pull

Description

A Sundowner Charter two-horse bumper pull, 16 ft of floor at 6 ft wide and 7 ft tall, with a 7,000 lb GVWR. The seller describes it as a warmblood-size trailer in great condition.

The seller's description of it as warmblood-size is worth reading against the recorded figures rather than instead of them: 16 ft of floor length is generous for two horses, giving each a long stall, but the 6 ft outside width is narrow and the 7 ft height is 21 hands. A genuinely wide-bodied warmblood should be measured against those numbers before you commit.

Sixteen feet of floor on a two-horse means real room front to back — space for a horse to brace properly and for a dressing area at the front. Sold as a used one-off unit at a 7,000 lb GVWR. Lift the mats and inspect the floor, check the tire date codes rather than the tread, and work every latch before it ships.
