2008 Lakota 8415 w/Slide out 4 Horse Trailer

Description

A four-horse Lakota with a 6 ft slide-out, 8 ft wide with 7 ft 4 in inside, on 7,000 lb axles — and a 69 gal fresh water tank.

Sixty-nine gallons of fresh water is a large tank for a trailer this size and it is the specification that decides how long you can stay somewhere without hookups. Thirty-three gallons each of gray and black holding sit behind it, with a water heater, so the limit is realistically the gray tank rather than the fresh.

The horse area is lined and insulated with padded aluminum slam-latch dividers, a pop-up vent and an LED light per stall, drop-down feed doors on the head side, sliding windows with jail bars on the tail side, rubber floor mats, mangers, a stud panel, an escape door and a rear ramp. A collapsible rear tack with removable center post carries an adjustable four-tier saddle rack, blanket bar, bridle hooks and two brush trays. The living quarters run a stainless 8 cu ft fridge-freezer, two-burner cooktop, microwave, sink, toilet and shower, leather sofa and dinette that both fold to beds, furnace, A/C, a 19 in TV with built-in DVD, two 20 lb LP tanks and two batteries with a shut-off. Dual-leg hydraulic jack, hay rack with ladder, manual awning.
