Description
A used 2007 American Spirit 8410GLQ four-horse trailer with a 10 ft short-wall living quarters, glide-out and generator, a budget-friendly way to carry four horses and sleep on site.
The price reflects the age, and the specification is still a full one. A 10 ft short wall and 15 ft long wall hold a dinette and a sofa, a kitchen with refrigerator, cooktop and microwave, air conditioning, furnace, radio and a bathroom with shower. The glide-out and generator are the two features that make older LQs worth considering.
Plumbing includes fresh, gray and black holding tanks and a water heater; power comes from LP tanks, a battery and 110 V wiring. The horse area carries four with an escape door and a rubber floor, and the 30 ft box is 8 ft wide with 7 ft 6 in of headroom.
Construction is a steel frame with aluminum skin, so check the frame and floor supports as you would on any steel trailer from 2007. It runs 7,000 lb axles and 16 in tires, with an electric jack, spare and awning. Listed at 9,000 lb empty; 17,500 lb GVWR.
