Description
A two-horse Odyssey with an escape door and an aluminum floor, on a steel frame with aluminum skin — 7 ft wide, 7 ft inside, 12 ft box.
No dressing room is recorded on this one, which is what keeps it at 2,800 lb and at the lowest price of any horse trailer here. If you haul locally and keep tack in the truck, that is a reasonable trade — you are paying for a horse box rather than a horse box plus a room you may not use.
The escape door matters more than the missing dressing room. It gives the handler a way out of the front of the trailer without walking back past the horses, which on a two-horse straight or slant is a genuine safety feature. Steel frame with aluminum skin corrodes at the fasteners where the two metals meet — inspect there and under the mats. Ready to haul, in the seller’s phrase.
