10Ft X 8Ft Raised Bunded Store

Description

A 10 ft bunded store made from a one-trip container: 300 mm raised bund, 3 mm Durbar steel floor welded in, twelve vents. $6,485.

The 10 ft bund holds about half again what the 8 ft holds — 2.84 m of internal length against 2.29 m — which in practice is the difference between four drums and six, or one IBC and two. The 300 mm raised perimeter turns the container floor into a containment tank, so a leak stays inside the steel.

Twelve vents rather than the eight fitted to the 8 ft version reflects the larger volume; ventilation is not optional when you are storing anything that gives off vapour. The shell is a new one-trip container with hinged double doors, two locking bars, a factory lock box and two forklift pockets at the front.
