Description
A plug-in 110 V solar power kit for containers and container offices, usable as a standalone off-grid supply or as backup alongside utility power. It suits anyone powering lights, laptops and small appliances where there is no hookup.
The core package is 300 watt solar panels charging 6 V 240 Ah maintenance-free deep-cycle batteries through an MPPT controller. The batteries sit in a NEMA-rated enclosure, and a 3,000 watt inverter delivers ordinary 110 V at two outlets. It plugs into an existing office container or electrical package, and installation is within reach of a competent DIYer.
Before ordering, add up what you intend to run, using typical draws from the listing's own appliance table. A laptop takes 50–100 W, an LED bulb 7–10 W, a fridge-freezer 150–400 W and an 8,000 BTU air conditioner 730–1,290 W. A microwave pulls up to about 1,700 W while running. A modest office sits well inside 3,000 W. An electric kettle, a space heater or a tankless water heater will not, and should stay off the solar circuit.
Upgrades on offer include a 6,000 W inverter with four outlets, lithium-ion batteries, an automatic transfer switch to swap between grid and solar, a sun tracker, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a surveillance system and outdoor lighting.
