Description
Ten thousand pounds gross on tandem 5,200 lb axles with brakes on both, over twenty feet of seven-foot dovetail deck.
This is the heavy-duty version of the twenty-foot utility trailer, and the frame reflects it: a 5 in C-channel tongue over a 5 in × 3 in bottom frame in quarter-inch steel. That is what makes the 10,000 lb rating meaningful rather than notional — the axles are only as useful as the structure they are bolted to.
Brakes on both axles rather than the rear only is the other difference, and at 10,000 lb it is not optional in practice. The dovetail rear with a heavy-duty reinforced loading ramp handles wheeled equipment, and pressure-treated wood flooring spreads point loads. Fifteen-inch wheels and tires, powder-coated finish, coupler, jack and safety chains included.
