Description
A twenty-foot gooseneck equipment deck at 14,000 lb GVWR with dual 12,000 lb jacks and, deliberately, no loading ramps.
Leaving the ramps off is a decision for operators who load from a dock, a bank or with a machine rather than driving up. Ramps are weight, they take up deck space or hang off the frame, and if you never use them they are simply something else to maintain. This trailer keeps twenty feet of straight, unbroken deck instead.
Dual 12,000 lb jacks handle the pin weight properly — a single jack on a loaded gooseneck is a slow and awkward business. An 8 in I-beam frame carries pressure-treated wood flooring, with stake pockets and D-rings down both sides and a chain basket at the front. Sixteen-inch wheels and tires, electric brakes on both 7,000 lb axles, spare tire holder fitted.
