Description
A 7×20 black hybrid trailer: an 8 ft enclosed V-nose section ahead of a 12 ft open utility deck, on two braked 7,000 lb axles — for crews hauling a mower and locking up the tools.
The hybrid layout answers a common problem. Mowers, a skid steer attachment or a load of mulch go on the open deck behind a 2 ft mesh rail, loaded over a heavy-duty bi-fold rear ramp, while trimmers, blowers and hand tools stay locked in the box up front. Two 7K axles with brakes give far more capacity than the usual 3,500 lb pair.
The enclosed section has 7 ft of height, 3/8 in plywood walls, a 3/4 in plywood floor, two side vents and a switched 12 V dome light. A 48 in spring-assisted ramp door on the driver side lets you drive equipment straight into the box, and there is a rear access door into it as well. Heavy-duty wheel wells, a 24 in ATP guard on the V-nose and LED lights finish it.
Only the enclosed front section is covered; the deck is open to the weather.
