Description
A short gooseneck — fourteen feet of deck at 14,000 lb GVWR on tandem 7,000 lb Dexter axles, with a dovetail and five-foot stand-up ramps.
A fourteen-foot gooseneck is an unusual and very practical thing. You get the tow stability and tight turning of a gooseneck coupling with a trailer short enough to reverse into a normal yard, and 14,000 lb of rating on a deck that most people can still see the end of in their mirrors. For a single machine it is a far easier tow than the same weight on a bumper-pull.
Two 12,000 lb jacks handle the pin weight. An 8 in I-beam frame with pressure-treated wood flooring, dovetail rear with five-foot stand-up ramps, 16 in steel wheels on radial tires, heavy-duty diamond-plate fenders, built-in tie-down points and a spare tire holder. You will need a pickup with a bed hitch to tow it.
