Description
A 12,000 lb GVWR twelve-footer with 24 in sides on tandem 6,000 lb axles — about six cubic yards, and the trailer most likely to be full and legal at the same time.
Low sides and a substantial axle rating is the pairing that suits stone, soil and rubble. Six cubic yards of gravel weighs roughly sixteen thousand pounds, so you will still reach the weight limit before the top of the sides — but you get much closer than you would with a tall box, and you are not carrying sidewall you never fill.
Box dimensions are 144 in by 82.5 in with a 29 in floor and an 18 in coupler height, on 2 in × 3 in tube crossmembers at 16 in centers. The 12 V DC pump runs 3,200 PSI up and 1,500 PSI down from a deep-cycle marine battery. Eighty-inch C-channel fender-mounted ramps, an adjustable 7,000 lb top-wind drop-leg jack, 16 in radial tires on black powder-coated wheels, a key-locked control box and amber and red LED lighting.
