Description
A purpose-built recycling trailer: six-foot mesh sides under an enclosed roof, with hinged loading windows at the front and passenger side and a two-part rear gate.
The roof is what separates this from an ordinary high-sided utility trailer. Light material — aluminum cans, plastics, cardboard — stays where you put it in wind and rain, and the load cannot lift out on the highway. The hinged loading window/door on the front and passenger side lets you tip bags and bins in at chest height without opening the back.
At the rear, a spring-assisted loading gate carries a flip-up top gate, so you can open the lower half for a bin or the whole rear for a full unload. A single greaseable 3,500 lb axle with brakes runs on 16 in wheels, over pressure-treated flooring with D-ring tie-downs and a powder-coated finish.
