Description
A 45 ft shipping container at $5,400 — the lowest-priced 45-footer in stock and the best cost per cubic foot of any dry box Portline sells.
Forty-five feet is a niche length. It exists because shippers wanted more volume on the same 8 ft width and 9 ft 6 in height as a 40 ft high cube, and it delivers about 340 cubic feet more than one. For static storage that is pure gain; for anything involving a chassis it is a complication, since standard 40 ft equipment will not carry it.
Judge this unit on the photographs and the condition attribute rather than on the length. At this price relative to the other 45-footers stocked, the difference is going to be in paint, dents and door condition — none of which affect whether it keeps rain off your equipment.
