Description
A new 2024 Griffin 7×16 telescopic dump trailer, $7,000 — a three-stage telescopic lift and 10-gauge steel walls and floor at GVWR 14,000 lb, with 9,145 lb of payload.
Ten-gauge steel in the floor and walls is heavier plate than most dump trailers in this class carry, and it is what lets a bed survive years of rock and rubble rather than dishing out. The three-stage telescopic lift tips steeply enough to empty completely.
Two-inch by twelve-inch front and rear gussets are provided for wall extensions if you need more cube later. Running gear is tandem EZ-lube axles with galvanized components on equalized leaf springs and 16 in radials. Five 5,000 lb D-rings are welded into the floor, the rear gate is a two-way combination spreader and barn gate, and 80 in fender-mounted channel ramps stow on the sides. A 12 V DC pump with power-up and power-down, deep cycle battery, front-access control box and three-piece plug-and-play harness handle the electrics.
