Description
A 2021 Lakota BigHorn 8519TBB: a five-horse living-quarters trailer with a 19 ft short wall, glide-out, oven, bunk beds and a generator — a full-time traveling setup for serious competitors or large families.
At 19 ft on the short wall and 24 ft on the long wall, the quarters here are closer to a small RV than a typical horse trailer. There is a kitchen with an oven as well as a cooktop and microwave, a dinette, bunk beds, air conditioning and a furnace, and a full bathroom. The glide-out widens the main room.
It is set up to run off-grid: a generator, LP tanks, a battery, a water heater and fresh, gray and black tanks, plus 110 V wiring for shore power. Five horses travel behind a walk-through door with mangers and an escape door.
The body is all aluminum, 8 ft wide with 7 ft 6 in inside, on 8,000 lb axles with 17.5 in tires, a hydraulic jack and an electric awning. The listing gives 17,605 lb empty and 24,000 lb GVWR, so plan on a heavy-duty truck built for that kind of weight.
