Description
A 2015 Bison Ranger 3LQ: a three-horse living-quarters trailer with a 10 ft short wall and glide-out, built on a steel frame with aluminum skin — a lower-cost route into a self-contained LQ.
Steel frame with aluminum skin is how Bison keeps the Ranger's price below its all-aluminum models. It is heavier, and the frame wants the usual rust checks, but the skin will not corrode like painted steel. The floor is pressure-treated wood.
Inside, a 10 ft short wall and 15 ft long wall hold a dinette, a kitchen with refrigerator, cooktop and microwave, air conditioning, a furnace and a bathroom with a shower. The glide-out adds room. Tanks for fresh, gray and black water, a water heater, LP tanks and 110 V power are listed. The horse area carries three with mangers, a hayrack and an escape door.
Box length is 26 ft, outside width 8 ft, inside height 7 ft 6 in. The axles are rated 7,200 lb on 16 in tires, with a hydraulic jack, a spare and an electric awning. The listing gives 9,000 lb empty and 17,312 lb GVWR.
