2005 Featherlite 2HST 2 Horse Trailer

Description

A 2005 Featherlite 2HST aluminum two-horse with a 4 ft short wall dressing room, walk-through door, 110 V wiring and 7 ft 6 in inside height — tall enough for bigger horses in a compact package.

The standout figure is height: 7 ft 6 in inside, or 22.5 hands, which is more headroom than many two-horse trailers offer and makes a tall horse more willing to load. The box is recorded at about 14 ft with an empty weight around 2,800 lb and a 7,000 lb GVWR, so it tows easily behind a half-ton.

Up front, a 4 ft short wall and 4 ft long wall form the dressing room, with a walk-through door into the horse area. It is all aluminum, wired for 110 V, and rides on 3,500 lb axles with 15 in tires. A manual jack and spare tire are included.

The seller's notes list the outside width as 6 ft, which is narrow for this model; confirm it before you buy.
